Simplify, simplify, simplify! Many may start researching cloth diapers, get overwhelmed and quit. Best Bottoms are YOUR solution! So easy to use yet comes with lots of options so you can get a customized system for your baby.
1. Adjust front snaps to achieve the size needed.
2. Snap insert into diaper.
3. Put diaper on baby and go!
4. When baby needs a diaper change snap out soiled insert and snap clean one in.
5. Put diaper on baby and go AGAIN. The Best Bottom shell is wipe-able and can be used multiple times before washing but you may want to air dry between uses but it is not necessary.
We recommend getting as many shells as your baby poos in a 2-3 day time period (for newborns count how many explosions they have!!). We have found that poo does stay on the insert most of the time but in some cases it may not (but it will stay in the diaper cover avoiding an embarassing mess!) Three different size inserts in several different materials available. We don't believe in a one size insert. Newborns and toddlers are not the same size so in order for a one size insert to absorb enough for a toddler it will be HUGE on a newborn. You may not need all three sizes of inserts and can skip the middle size - it is all up to you! We recommend approximately 24 inserts per size.
So to make it SIMPLE you will need approx 8-10 shells and 18-24 inserts per size. How easy is that?!
Quality:
The highest quality of materials available have been selected with as much of the raw materials made in the USA as we could find. The entire Shell is made with USA-made materials! ALL of our products are proudly handcrafted in the USA at local factories helping to support the local economy and reduce our environmental impact. We use durable snaps and hook & loop, double layer of waterproof PUL creating a perfect no-leak sturdy shell with a wipe-able inside lasting for many washes.

Have you guys thought about doing coupons? I know that's not completely "green or frugal", but you could also consider adding some fun things like, organic t-shirts/onesies for babies and toddlers. Those are fun to put on babies, especially with silly phrases like "organically made".
To be frugal myself, I love to use coupons. I also live near Madison, which is why it would be GREAT if you started a weekly newsletter with coupons or something. That would just be the best thing ever. I also like to shop organic and will try to choose as green as I can afford. :)

for being more green and save money I am going to make my own wipes, I just need to cut up material.
I am going to get more overnight diapers so I can stop using sposies at night, to be more green and save money.
I recycle all glass, paper, and plastic to be more green.
I would like to use more cloth instead of paper towels around the house to be more green.

And to be frugal- almost all of kids' clothing is 2nd hand. Thrift store 50% off days, from thredup.com or passed on. And, so I try to pass on our clothes to keep the karma going :)

To be more green, I'd like to switch to mama cloth, and go completely to cloth wipes! We're still using disposable wipes for the poopies. Also looking for a nighttime diaper that doesn't give our son a rash, since we're having to use disposables for that.
To be as frugal as possible, we usually buy clearance clothing and shop yard sales. We'll even buy a couple sizes ahead when we can, if the price is reasonable, so that we have it when he needs that size and don't have to go out and spend more money.

One thing I'd like to start doing to be both more green and frugal is to grow produce in my own garden. I have a very brown thumb! But, I'm reading up on home gardening so that I can be prepared for next season!

One thing I do to be more green is to use reusable shopping bags and not use paper products like paper towels, paper plates. I use the "real thing" instead.

Frugal! That is me. I hardly ever buy clothing at full price, I try to buy everything at the end of season clearance sales to save money. I start shopping in the summer for Great deals on Christmas presents. I am always looking for coupons and free shipping online ( I love Nicki's Diapers for this reason!)
I need to work on my frugal and green grocery shopping, I never make a list, I just go to the store, this makes for wasted food & money!
I also only remember my bags 30% of the time! I even leave them in the car and forget!

#7 2nd entry,
Added weblink to nicki's diapers website for the best bottoms...cause that's my favorite product...on my family's website forum.
to be more green AND frugal, we take old cotton shirts/ etc that are no longer usable for wear and cute them up and use them as our cloth diaper Wipes for cloth diapering.
I also take old Jewelry that I see at thrift shops or the like places, and collect it, cause I take it apart and create new cute bracelets for my baby girl.

One of my goals to be more green and frugal is to grow and can/freeze more of my own fruits and vegetables.
One of things that I already do to be green and frugal is using mostly 2nd hand clothes and other baby items.

being green is the way to go...if using a/c turn the temp up a bit, wash laundry in cold, line dry, walk/bike, use reusable bags & no more plastic---we all have reusable bottles to fill with what we like, and my mom made us reusable sandwich wraps & cool bags made out of empty bird seed and dog food bags.

There are lots of things I'd like to improve on. We're really working towards being as self sufficient as possible and buying local whenever possible. But one big one, and it's embarassing to even admit is recycling. Yes, I'm awful about it. I try but I didn't grow up in a recycling household and I live in a rural area that does not make it easy.
My favorite other 'green' thing we do is garden because it's something we do as a family that is fun. Though I guess breastfeeding is pretty green too since we do not use bottles at all, no waste there.
