Simplify, simplify, simplify! Many may start researching cloth diapers, get overwhelmed and quit. Best Bottoms are YOUR solution! So easy to use yet comes with lots of options so you can get a customized system for your baby.
1. Adjust front snaps to achieve the size needed.
2. Snap insert into diaper.
3. Put diaper on baby and go!
4. When baby needs a diaper change snap out soiled insert and snap clean one in.
5. Put diaper on baby and go AGAIN. The Best Bottom shell is wipe-able and can be used multiple times before washing but you may want to air dry between uses but it is not necessary.
We recommend getting as many shells as your baby poos in a 2-3 day time period (for newborns count how many explosions they have!!). We have found that poo does stay on the insert most of the time but in some cases it may not (but it will stay in the diaper cover avoiding an embarassing mess!) Three different size inserts in several different materials available. We don't believe in a one size insert. Newborns and toddlers are not the same size so in order for a one size insert to absorb enough for a toddler it will be HUGE on a newborn. You may not need all three sizes of inserts and can skip the middle size - it is all up to you! We recommend approximately 24 inserts per size.
So to make it SIMPLE you will need approx 8-10 shells and 18-24 inserts per size. How easy is that?!
Quality:
The highest quality of materials available have been selected with as much of the raw materials made in the USA as we could find. The entire Shell is made with USA-made materials! ALL of our products are proudly handcrafted in the USA at local factories helping to support the local economy and reduce our environmental impact. We use durable snaps and hook & loop, double layer of waterproof PUL creating a perfect no-leak sturdy shell with a wipe-able inside lasting for many washes.

To be more green, I would love to start my own compost pile. I'm in Las Vegas and it's so hot that the soil can use any help I can give it naturally.
One thing I already do to be more green is that I use reusable grocery bags and recycle, recycle, recycle everything I can!

I would like to improve on bringing my lunch to work more often. More frugal and better for the environment as I use reusable containers.
I tweeted! @twinks_tweets
We recycle, and I am working on starting a vegitable garden in my backyard
I already recycle like crazy, including bringing bags of recyclables home from work. We take our trash out approx. every third week.
Our town just started a recycling pick-up program, so we're now recycling - feels good with the amount of paper we go through with the kids, lol!!

Other than cloth diapering, we try to be green by using cloth grocery bags and walking to the store instead of driving.
To be more green, I want to recycle MORE, I want a hybrid car, I want to stop using paper towels (almost there), eventually stop using toilet paper and paper feminine products. I would love to get "off the grid" by using solar power, wind power, etc. I'd like to never buy new materials. I'd like to reduce the amount of plastic in my life. Hmm, I'm sure there's a lot more that I can't think of right now!

To be more green and frugal, I would love to have my own garden once we have a house and yard. Growing my own vegetables, using my own compost and a rain barrel has always been a goal of mine.

To be more frugal, I hardly ever buy any consumables that I don't have a coupon for, or that aren't on sale. Cloth diapers are another matter, however... :-)
One thing we do right now is use reusable water bottles when we take water with us, instead of buying bottled water. Another thing I do is hang my laundry out as much as the weather permits it, instead of using the dryer.
One thing I would like to do is get a more environmentally friendly car.
To be more green or frugal, I'm not sure what I could do. I hate the amount of packaging we use but EVERYTHING comes in packaging! Perhaps buying in bulk would lessen the amount a little bit. We already recycle a ton. I could also use cloth table napkins instead of paper.

One thing we do as a family to be more "green/frugal" is compost waste and we have a decent sized garden that we get a lot of veggies out of!
Other green things we do: compost all of our food items and recycle everything! We also use green cleaning products & toiletries and we're really trying to cut the consumables and plastic out of our lives.

What we are currently doing to be more green: recycling lots, using products with fewer/no nasty chemicals (I LOVE my sunscreen, it is manufactured using solar power!), we have our own organic veggie garden, we turn off the furnace (water heater) during the day when it is not being used so it doesn't keep heating the water all day long.
Something for me to improve on being more green: I have reusable shopping bags but I always forget to bring to the store :( I need to fix my brain.
I'm already a fan on FB, but I posted a comment today and I tweeted about Nicki's ("agrostemma").

I would like remember to take those darn reusable shopping bags to the grocery store with me. Always forget.
To be more green, I would love to have a vegetable garden and compost pile, but I live in a townhome so it'll have to wait. :(
I like to shop thrift stores and garage sale. I always try to reduce reuse and recycle. I have room for improvement.

I use reusable bags at the grocery store.
We do several things to be green and frugal. We compost. We used to make our own laundry detergent but switched to Charlie's Soap when we got diapers. We use cast iron skillets and griddles, buy used kids clothes and toys, use cloth shopping bags, recycle everything we can, buy local produce, meat and eggs, and I'm learning to can and freeze.
To be green and frugal I BREASTFEED!
I'm a fan on Facebook!
To be more green I'd like to improve the insulation in our house. It's an old farmhouse and has next to no insulation in the roof.
To be more green and frugal, we have switched from commercial soaps to hand made, organic soaps in our household.

to be more green we use reusable zippered snack bags instead of plastic, CD (of course), try to give away stuff i don't need instead of throwing it in the trash, Try not to use plastic containers.
We use cloth wipes as well as cloth diapers to help be more green. We also purchased energy efficient appliances (front loaders washer & a good energy rating on the dishwasher and fridge). I also try to walk to the bank on nice days and save gas and pollution emission.
I'd like to be more "green" in our cleaning products.
Oh, and I forgot another thing we do is use reusable grocery bags and diaper pail liners

To be more green - I would like to line dry laundry more - I know its great for freshness & stains - but I hate the CRUNCHINESS.
We are very frugal - I never turn down a hand-me-down. Most days I look at my girls and think, "wow- I did not buy a single thing you're wearing"... from top to bottom, even diapers!

Following you on Twitter!!
To be more green and frugal we don't use paper towels, plates or napkins. We also store all food in glass as opposed to throw away plastic ziploc containers. I'm still working on cutting out plastic bags.
We are going green by using reusable shopping bags, walking to the store, planting a garden and then bottling the harvest, and not turning our evaporative cooler on unless it gets to 80 degrees inside. We already cloth diaper and use cloth wipes!

we use HE appliances, ALL of them, we use flourescent lighting to save power, I only use Bioclean for all my household cleaning, and biodegradable laundry soap (Rockin' Green). We Recycle everything! our recycling can is bigger than our garbage can! Once while changing my baby's diaper, a woman stated that she would never have time to wash diapers, and my 6 year old said, "Well, will you have time to clean up the world?" That's my girl!!!
Just posted a comment on facebook.
We use natural safe cleaners like vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda.
I just tweeted about the give away!
I would love to start composting it would be great to add to our plants and garden.
To be more green, I would like to start using cloth wipes more often, use my reusable shopping bags more often and get my family to turn things off when they are not using them. I would also like to convince at least one friend of how awesome cloth diapers are!!

One thing we do to be "frugal" is use coupons and "play the drugstore game" - like using register rewards and extra care bucks at Walgreens and CVS to get free products. We never pay for shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
Once we buy a house (next year when I finish school and we know where we'll be - hopefully Madison!) we want to start growing our own garden and composting to be more green. We just don't have the space in our condo with no backyard!

i'd like to create less waste.. we're going to start taking our recyclables to the nearest center (more than an hour away, but near hubby's work) and hopefully starting a worm bin to do some indoor composting in our apartment! and of course cloth diapering with our next baby would be a HUGE part of that..
something i've been doing already is using cloth grocery bags - i love it, though the cashiers dont seem too thrilled

In order to be more green, I would like to get back into using my cloth grocery bags, and create less waste.
One thing I am doing to be more green is using mama cloth. Love it!
I'm a fan of Nicki's Diapers Facebook page.
One thing I'm doing to be more green is using green personal care products like solid shampoo made from all natural ingredients.
