My baby is not here yet, but I'm planning to go with natual fabrics. I think it will help with potty learning and might be better for the skin.

I like both kinds of fabrics in diapers. Stay dry is good for napping/night because it won't wake my daughter up if she is wet. I like natural fabrics because they don't contain any chemicals.

I prefer natural fibers mostly for the ease of care. I can use the detergent that works best for my family without worrying too much about buildup or having to strip. A pre-rinse, a hot wash/cold rinse, and an extra rinse and I'm good to go. It all dries quickly too.

i'm new to cloth diapering, so i'm not sure if i prefer stay dry or natural fabrics. i have a bunch of both, and i'm liking each of them for different reasons. the stay dry are nice when we're out and about or during the night, but i tend to use natural fabrics most of the day because...well, they are natural!

I am new to cloth diapering and am trying natural cloth & stay dry inserts. So far, I like the stay dry because of how dry it keeps my baby's little bottom. I believe I will like the natural fabrics because they are indeed natural! We'll see!
I subscribed to your blog and posted a comment on the last "Item of the Week" blog post.
I really like BOTH, and tend to combine a stay dry liner with a natural fibers diaper (e.g. green sprout baby diaper with a BG stay dry doubler).
Alright, I was just about to buy some of these to try. I am confused though. How are diapers like these so different from putting a prefold into a bummis cover (or other brand). Isn't a tri-fold in a cover the same as a hybrid diaper... sorta? I am so curious. I want to try one bad.

I'm inclined to like natural fibers. I've always had issues with stink and the synthetics, and I like the idea of natural fibers against baby's skin. Organic fibers is even better! But, I struggle with knowing that natural fibers will leave a baby feeling wet. I guess the solution is just to change diapers more often, :)

I am very new to the cloth diapering world and am still experimenting and learning but I will most likely use both. I really like the idea of natural cloth since that is one reason why I am switching to cloth in the first place. I will also use the stay dry most likely when I am out and about or if I have a baby sitter watching my girls, that way to keep it easier for the sitter.
I commented on the item of the week, I also am now following on twitter.
I prefer natural, though we do own and use some stay-dry. LO has super sensitive skin and with natural I don't have to worry at all.
I prefer stay dry products but I use natural as well. Just depends on the day. I love the stay dry for not feeling so wet.

I like using natural fabric, and supplement it with a stay-dry fleece. I dislike microfiber, because it tends to smell a lot more than organic material.
I'm new to cloth, so I'm still learning about different options and what I like best. I have some natural prefolds that I REALLY love. But so far I like my stay-dry Flip insert and the other microfiber inserts I have. Though I have heard a lot that the microfiber starts to stink. I'm hoping to avoid that with careful laundering practices. I do like that microfiber is more trim than other inserts I've seen though.

I prefer the stay dry fabrics for my 5 month old son. They do just that, stay dry. I use an organic cotton prefold on him in the morning for that first big poop then which. My daughter is two and potty training. I use only the cotton pre folds on her to help her know when she is wet. It works for me.

Anything that touches baby's skin has got to be natural...it's fine if other layers are stay-dry. But I would still prefer material such as hemp & bamboo/rayon.
I used to not even know the difference b/t natural and synthetic, then when I started getting the microfiber stinkies, I cared a lot and got rid of most of my MF. Then I started letting some back in my stash because I figured out it was how I was washing my diapers. We'll see how long this new "stance" holds...It is nice to have stay-dry sometimes.

I prefer both materials for different reasons. I love stay dry materials because they're very easy to spray poo off with, they keep things dry, and they're generally less expensive. I tend to reach for natural materials more though because I think they're softer, they cause less redness for my LO, and they're more likely to be organic.
I like stay-dry materials for everyday ease, but I do like natural materials for softness.
