We use our wipes for noses and baby changes. For changes, we use a wipe solution (baby bum drops) that we mix up. Storage is in a container (media storage basket) under the changing table.
I keep them next to the diapers and either run them under warm water from the sink before a diaper change or just wet them with a squirt bottle at the changing table!
I store them in a Rubbermaid with a basic home made solution of Dr. Bronner's Baby Mild Castile Soap boiled in distilled water, then add 2 drops lavender essential oil. (1 part soap:3 parts water)
It'll be a few more weeks before baby is here and I get to use them, but I plan on storing them dry and using a squirt bottle with wipe solution to wet them as needed!
wipes at my house are stored in a cozy wipe warmer, smothered in lusa wipe juice or my homemade potion. i also keep a stash of 'older' wipes (nothing wrong with them--just that we've upgraded, lol...) in a kitchen drawer and use them for baby mealtime cleanup. somehow it seems more sanitary than wiping baby's face with a kitchen rag!
I store my wipes in an old disposable wipes case. Works perfectly with a pop-up effect! If needed a squirt some homemade wash on them but usually jug use warm water.
We were storing our wipes on a table, but someone likes to clear the table, and since I got tired of reorganizing the table, we store them in a dresser drawer now. :)
I store a hand full or so wet in the wipes bin for quick mess cleanup, and the rest I leave dry to be sprayed if/when needed. I like having the flexibility of both methods on hand.
We keep them dry and spray them down with diluted California Baby Diaper Area Wash Spray onto the cloth (and sometimes her booty too if it's especially bad) as needed! (:
We love cloth wipes! Why wouldn't you want to use something so soft to wipe your baby and not have to worry about cemicals in disposables. Please please pick us! - SaSha and Blaize 11mo.
I usually store them with the diapers. When I need to use one, I wet it with warm water. I've also used a wipe warmer and kept a few in there with a warm water/soap solution.
I store my wipes in an old disposable wipes container. We have three cats and a dog, so I to keep them away from all of the pet fur flying around! :) They are conveniently located on our sink right next to the faucet so my daughter has what we call a bumcial (a facial for her bum) every changing! :)
I plan on using them with water or a homemade solution!
