April 29th-May 5th Weekly Giveaway

The Natural Baby Company has really outdone themselves this time! They’ve taken their best-selling Gro-Baby hybrid diaper system and added the option of a disposable soaker, genius! The Gro Baby Bio Soaker Intro Package includes one vanilla Gro Baby shell and 50 Bio Soakers in either size 1 or size 2.

The Gro Baby Bio Soakers are biodegradable and compostable, meaning they’re more earth friendly than standard disposable diapers. They are fragrance, dye, plastic and chlorine free and use biodegradable wood pulp and 3 grams of SAP gel (compared to 10-12 grams in other disposables) for absorbency. In other words, better for baby!

I have personal experience with this system and I can’t say enough good things about it. My super heavy night-time wetter can wear a size 2 Bio Soaker in a Gro Baby shell overnight without leaks! He wakes up dry and happy and so do I because I’m not changing sheets or PJs at night! These also make for an incredibly trim diaper, which is great on my little guy who has short little legs but outgrows his jeans because of his fluffy cloth bum!

I think this system is perfect for traveling. You can bring a box of Bio Soakers, a handful of Gro Baby shells, and you’re set for a few days without the hassle of toting around dirty diapers. You could also bring a few of their snap-in organic cotton soakers, which take up minimal room and are interchangeable in the same shells as the Bio Soakers.

To enter to win your free Gro Baby Bio Soaker Intro Package (in choice of size 1 or 2), you will receive ONE entry for EACH option below (you MUST leave a comment for each option saying what you did and where). This means you can get multiple entries increasing your chance to WIN! (each "Weekly Giveaway" may be different):

  1. I love the Flip, both the washable and biodegradeable inserts. The snaps make for a good snug fit on my little girl

  2. My favorite disposable insert is the Cotton Babies Flip insert...because it's the only one I've tried! I've heard very good things about GroBaby though, and really want to try it. The Flip inserts I have are VERY narrow. Maybe they've improved them since I purchased, though. I hope I win!

  13. I've only tried the original disposable flip insert and found that it was too narrow. I remember reading that they were redesigning them, but I haven't tried them again.

  18. My favorite disposable insert are the g-diaper inserts. I love that they are long and easily used, and they don't have any of the yucky "ingredients" like regular disposable diapers.

  27. My favorite disposablt insert would have to be g diapers, but that because it's the only one I have tried. Truthfully I would rather use cloth, but at times a disposable insert can be good too.

  28. GroBaby is my favorite insert. Doesn't cause my little guy to break out like other brands.

  85. I have never used cloth diapers with inserts before (in fact, I've never used cloth at all before, but I intend to primarily use BumGenius when our baby is born in a few months). However, the diapers for this week's giveaway sound great for overnights and traveling so then we don't have to invest in disposable! These diapers sounds great for traveling/running errands because then I won't have to take as much home with me. Thanks for sharing!

  88. My favorite inserts are the flip inserts because they absorb moisture similar to a disposable, but they are easier on the environment. I have not yet experienced them with a bm, so i can't tell you how that goes. Flip is the only one i've tried so far, new to cloth diapering, but I love it!

I have one gro baby shell but haven't tried any of the disposable liners yet. I'd love to try these! I rave about cloth diapers to my family and it would go a long way to persuade my sister-in-law to switch.
